Gifts
Giving gifts to Eleanor will raise the friendship level, and you can do it twice a week. Eleanor will give special dialogues if you give gifts on her birthdays:
Loved Gifts
"How on earth did you know I wanted this for my birthday? You couldn’t have done any better. Thank you!"
Liked Gifts
"A birthday gift? For me? This is so sweet of you. And clearly, you know my taste! I’ll cherish it."
Neutral Gifts
"Oh, Player. I don’t like to make a fuss about birthdays, but thank you for remembering."
Disliked Gifts
"Ew, this is… I mean… Well, thank you for making the effort."
Hated Gifts
"Here’s a little tip for you, Player. Next year, just get me a stink bug."
Love
"Why, Player. It means so much that you thought to give me this. I love it."
I was telling the mayor I didn’t think anyone would want to visit the island until we got rid of the oil on the beach, but you proved me wrong. Welcome to the community!
Introduction
Yeah, you’re right. The island isn’t like it used to be. It is what it is.
My brooch? Oh… It’s special to me. Not expensive. Nothing like that. Sunnygave it to me the day we brought Oliver home from Pokyo.

When a caterpillar spins its chrysalis, it’s an ugly little thing! But then a beautiful butterfly emerges. And lychees are the same… Ugly on the outside, but soft and sweet on the inside.
Monday - Sunday
Well… I don’t know if that’s a very good analogy, to be honest. I just know I love those little fruits!
Monday - Sunday
I’m glad we have a good coffee bar here in Starlet Town, but to tell you the truth, I much prefer green tea. Don’t tell Raj!
Monday - Sunday
Green tea has a lot of health benefits. It may even protect the brain from aging! But mainly, I like the taste.

We’re always looking for donations at the museum. Please stop by if you have any interesting bugs you’d like to share!
The heat can get intense at the beach this time of year. Even with the windows open, sometimes it’s still hot, even at night.
Suki has great bug repellent. I believe she makes it herself. It comes in handy in Summer.
The Beach Shack has been smoking a lot of salmon lately. The smoke gets trapped on the second floor all day… No matter how many times we change our clothes, we end up smelling like smoked salmon.
I’ve been telling those two that’s what happens, but nope. They still insist. All right, then. What can I say? Jim and Sunny are in charge of the kitchen.
Heart 2-10
I mean, sure, flies can be a nuisance when they’re around your food, but they’re just looking for a meal like any other living thing.
The museum is cold in Winter. I guess the high ceiling doesn’t help. It gets really cold sometimes.
Sometimes at night, I take Oliver to the porch on the second floor, and we watch the snow falling on the water.
Heart 2-10
We’ve been making ramen at the shack lately. Maybe I’ll roast some chestnuts tonight. It’s Sunny’s favorite. We still have some chestnuts from Fall… I hope.
Heart 2-10
It’s nice to see kids enjoying the snow and building snowmen. Some of the kids I used to watch building snowmen a long time ago are grown up now. The twins who run the inn, Frankie Jr.… Gosh! I’m old!
Heart 2-10
Sunny can be loud sometimes. But that’s just his personality. Yeah, and his voice.
