While not directly magical and helpful like the other Giants, the Chieftain serve as a temporary bridge between the [[Goddess of Flower|Goddess]] and the rest of the island aka the Player. The Chieftain speaks in a complicated, Yoda-like speech. While the chief may have a lot of important information to share, it’s made difficult to understand thanks to the complicated speech pattern.
