"Farming is an adventure – it's easy to start but full of surprises! Once you get the hang of it, you’re on your way to becoming the ultimate farmer. Here are some fun and important facts about farming to help you on your journey:
- Fruit plants and fruit trees are two different things. While fruit plants will wither when it's not their season, fruit trees will not. Although they don’t wither, fruit trees don’t bear fruits outside of their seasons.
- Some crops grow on trellises and might block the walking path. Keep that in mind when choosing what crops to plant!
- Fertilizers are useful to either increase crop quality or make them grow faster, depending on the type you choose. There’s a wide variety of fertilizers out there.
- To get a better quality crop, you need to plant better quality seeds.
There’s usually some information on improving seed quality in a local laboratory. If your town has one, it’s worth visiting to see what you can learn!"
