Gems are items that can be found down in the cavern or obtained by opening geodes. Gems are rare and valuable and can be donated to the museum to complete the gem collection. The player can also sell gems for money or use them for enchanting or gifts.
Each gem can be donated to the museum once for 3 Town rank points. Gems can also be sold or gifted.
Gems are considered universally liked gifts with some exceptions: Archie and the Chieftain love all gems and Pablo is neutral towards them. Additionally, several townsfolk love or hate certain gems.||
Pink diamond is universally loved gifts with Jim as the only exception.
Gems can also be used as fuel for the enchanting system with certain Gems being worth a set amount of points based on their rarity. A list of all items that can be used for enchanting and their point values can be found on the Enchanting page.
