"Rumors have circulated amongst the fishers that there is a certain fish that lives in the waters around Coral Island. The locals have dubbed it the furry herring.
At present, it's difficult to discern if the fish in question is an actual living being or a mere fabrication of the imaginations of these fishers.
""Oh, it's totally real!"" said Theo, a resident fisher of Starlet Town. ""I've seen it once, jumping out of the water. It was magnificent.""
His father Jim, however, had other ideas. ""I can't say for certain that that herring doesn't exist, I just have a hard time believing it does. I've spent decades in the water, caught almost every fish imaginable, and I have never seen this fish.""
But others had a more optimistic approach. ""I've never seen it myself, but do you know how deep the ocean is?"" said Sunny, owner of the Beach Shack. ""Who knows what lives down there? Could be anything!"""
