Rafael Sanchez is a townie in Coral Island. He lives in and runs the local blacksmith shop with his big brother, Pablo.

Rafael tends to be reserved towards others and unlike his brother, he rarely ever leaves the upper part of the town, usually either staying inside his home or cleaning the graveyard that is located directly next to the blacksmith shop.

Gifts

Giving gifts to Rafael will raise his friendship level with the player. Gifts may be given to him twice a week.

Summer
Summer feels a bit too much for me. I, um, prefer Winter. Uh…or maybe Fall.
Working in front of the furnace in Summer is…intense. I can handle it in other seasons, but Summer is just too much.
How’s your Summer so far? Mine’s okay. I spend a lot of nights watching horror films in my room. No, no. I don’t have a TV in my room. I have this tablet… Anyway, never mind. It’s small and not very fancy.
Maybe I can get some ceiling fans installed for next Summer. All I do is fan myself in bed with old newspapers… Makes me feel like a salmon being smoked.
Eating something cold like cold fish or ice cream would be good right about now.
Fall
Date 4 - 13 I’m looking forward to Betty’s homemade mooncakes. They’re always the highlight of Fall for me.
Date 1 - 7 I wonder what horror films are coming out this Fall. I like the ones with jump scares. Just nice classic horror films with ghosts. Um…
Date 1 - 7 Planning to spend the weekend nights watching Fall films with, um, ghosts… Even better if they're ghosts from folk tales. What are you, um, gonna do?
Date 10 - 13 I wonder what Beluga Bay will be showing at this year’s Harvest Festival…
Fall might be my favorite season, I guess. I’m lucky to live here. It's easy to just go out and enjoy nature whenever I want to.
Winter
Winter is nice… I like it.
If I get too hot, I just step outside and let the Winter air cool me down. I can do that now…because it’s Winter.
This Winter is a little dry. My hands hurt if I wash them too much. But it’s nothing unbearable. It’s okay…
Winter coats are, um, hard to wash. They're very thick. Take ages to dry.
Winter is a great time to upgrade your tools. You'd be ready for a busy Spring then.
