Paul is a wildlife enthusiast and makes a living filming documentaries around Coral island. Paul and his wife, Anne, are young parents. He spends his weekdays trying to get wildlife footage around the lake area and on the weekend, he likes to keep moving by playing volleyball at the beach with the family. Paul is adventurous in nature, but not in his appearance. He likes to wear anything practical and weatherproof because he doesn’t shy away from the rain/ snow. He would leap out of his bed the second he is needed to save animals, without hesitation. Big heart, likes hummus.

Dialogues
First meeting
"You’re going to be a farmer, huh? What brings you out here, then? By the way, you can call me Paul."
"The docuseries Friends with Wildlife? Yeah! My wife and I made that! I can’t believe you know about it. Cool, cool! Very cool."
Generic
"What a weekend! I was glad for a break, but… Phew! I’m glad it’s over. I love dancing, but my hips weren’t made for it, I can tell you that much."
"I’m refreshed and ready to get back to work!"
"Ah, your farm– something is going on over there, Player. Nothing spooky, but…"
"I’m sure some unusual creatures live on that side of the island. I don’t have any footage, though."
"It’s only the beginning of the week, and we’ve already recorded some rare birds."
"Try not to spook the wildlife when you go in the forest, will ya?"
Spring
"Cauliflower season, isn’t it? Yeah, I should know. I used to be obsessed with growing it. My mom’s favorite vegetable."
"I don’t like it that much anymore."
"It’s still a bit chilly out, so I think some animals are still hibernating."
"I was expecting to see way more frogs and bees this time of year. Hmm…"
"We started planting carrots and potatoes already."
Summer
"Watch your step, Player. As the weather gets warmer, more animals will come out of hibernation."
"One time, Zoe had a school project, and we planted strawberries. It was fun. We shared the harvest with some wild animals."
"It was a rewarding project, and it taught kids about the cycle of life firsthand."
"The thing about planting in the wild is so many animals come out at night. The seedlings would probably be gone the next day."
"We grow some crops in our garden. It’s a good way for Zoe to bond with nature. We planted some corn, melons. What else did we plant?"
Fall
"Do you think we should plant more trees to shelter wildlife?"
"I knew you’d think so! Shelter isn’t just for rain, you know. It’s important on sunny days too. Just like us, animals don’t want to overheat."
"Thankfully, most of the trees here are renewable. And the fact that we plant more trees every year has really helped the environment."
"There’s a certain part of this island we don’t touch at all, and I’m glad for the restriction."
"Hopefully, we can teach our kids to respect wildlife and to reserve some space only for them."
Winter
"Winter, eh? Less work for me and you. There are significantly fewer animals out and about this time of year."
"Your animals are okay, I hope? It can get really cold in the barn. I’d get one of those warmer machines if I were you."
"Ah, yes, yes! Heaters. I forgot the proper name for them for a split second there. Must be my Winter brain coming back."
"We’ve been enjoying building snowmen this Winter. I think Zoe had a lot of fun."
"We forgot to clear the garden before Winter. Now we have frozen crops in our garden. I think we’ll just wait for Spring to clean it up. No point in doing it right now, eh?"
