Produce Quality
In Coral Island, there are five different quality levels for crops and animal food: Basic, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Osmium. To increase the quality of an item, player can upgrade these items in Ling's Lab using various kelp essences they obtain from diving. By doing so, players can improve the yield and quality of their harvest, leading to greater success in the game.
Items available to upgrade :
- Crop Seed : Increase quality of harvested crops
- Fruit plant seedlings : Increase quality of fruit plant harvest
- Fruit trees saplings : Increase quality of fruit tree harvest
- Hay (Animal food) : Increase quality of animal products
Ling's Lab
To upgrade items in Coral Island, players can visit Ling's Lab. The kelp essences required for each upgrade will vary depending on the item being upgraded and the quality level being targeted.

Quality mechanic
Product quality will be determined the moment player harvest product, not when player plant the seeds. Upgrading seed will increase the chance of player getting better quality product when harvesting. Chance percentage of what product player is going to get is shown in the table below :
