Back in the day, Betty used to run the Tavern with her late husband. Now, she spends her retirement days going around town re-filling bird feeders, educating kids about coral reefs, and baking patisseries. Bonded over their similar career choice, love for French pastries and red velvet cake, she befriends Eva, and often invites her over for a girls night in. She has good relationships with all of her children, Noah, Eddy and Frank. Only Noah and Frank live in Starlet Town. Her daughter is in the air force, training to be an astronaut and Eddy works at a start-up in the Valley.

Dialogues
First meeting
"How lovely to see a new face around here! You can call me Betty, dear."
"You’re the first visitor we’ve had in a while. After the oil spill last year, tourists hardly come anymore."
Generic
"Remember to reuse what you can and recycle what you can’t, Player."
"You’re right, we don’t have any community recycling machines yet. But all in good time."
"Did you know turtles often eat trash? They think it’s plankton or floating seaweed. But they can’t digest it. Eating trash really harms animals."
"For old folks like me, Monday is just another day."
"I don’t mind refilling the bird feeders around town. I have a lot of time on my hands."
"Pablo helps me fix the broken bird feeders. He and his brother are very handy."
Spring
"Peonies are blooming this time of year."
"Will you be planting any at your farm? It’s not too late, you know."
"You'll find a handy little calendar in front of Sam’s store. It's got all the festivals and birthdays. Do give it a look. Quite helpful, I must say."
"I'm trying to help the bees by planting flowers. Hopefully, in time, we'll see more bee houses popping up around the island."
"Happy New Year, dear. I pray this year is good for you, bringing you a lot of fortune and happiness."
Summer
"Player? Hmm… Are you all right?"
"Don’t strain yourself. I need to drink more water in Summer, even though I do the same tasks every season of the year. Make sure you do that too."
"Am I really going to complain about the heat? No. I will not."
"It is warm… But warm is good. We need warmth sometimes, yes? The humidity, though… Hmm…"
"It’s too hot for tulips. I think I’ll plant irises instead."
Fall
"I never get tired of the Fall breeze. Ah… This is my favorite time of year."
"Keep some lotuses in your pantry, Player. You never know when you’ll have a craving for mooncakes."
"Raising four children isn’t easy. Especially when they’re so close in age. It was chaos from the first, but I wouldn’t change it for the world."
"I sometimes wish Frank would give me some grandchildren! But I respect their decision. There’s always Peanut and Butter."
"Making mooncakes isn’t that tough. All you need is a lotus, mix it with flour and egg, and give it a good blend. You should give it a try!"
Winter
"Hmm. You seem preoccupied, dear. Everything okay, I hope?"
"If you’re looking for things to do during Winter, maybe you could take up fishing."
"The weather keeps getting colder. It’s not agreeing with my joints."
