The Laboratory is located in Starlet Town and is currently run by the town's only marine biologist, Ling. It is also the place where Surya conducts his research. The town’s laboratory is open Sunday-Friday and is closed on Saturdays.
The player can come to Ling with bottled kelp essences to upgrade their seeds or fodder. The player can also purchase various items from the cash register or process any fossil nodes they have.
Process Fossil Node Remains
You can break open fossil nodes in Ling's laboratory. Just come to the counter, and choose Process Fossil Remains. Breaking fossil nodes cost 20 each. You can find dinosaurus fossil to complete museum donation inside.

The player can purchase the ingredients from making kelp essences right in the lab.

Research lab upgrades
The Laboratory allows the player to purchase seed or fodder upgrades for gold and kelp essences. The research takes time, and only one upgrade can be bought at a time. Once the research is done, it will immediately takes effect.
