Festival

Festivals are held every season and on different days. There are a total of 8 festivals held on Coral Island, each season has two festivals.

The player will be notified about the festival one day before the event starts. The Player’s attendance at festivals are not mandatory.

To participate in the festivals, the player must enter the festivals’ locations within two hours of the appointed festivals’ time.

Spring Festivals & Events

Cherry Blossom Potluck

Day 10. This takes place on the east of the Lake, starting between 9:00 - 14:00 by interacting with the festival orb. The Player can contribute for the potluck with an ingredient of their choice by putting it into the pot on the east of the festival. By talking to Connor after contributing, the main event will start. (That will be taste tested by Judge Ross). Players can also take part in a sack race like minigame, located south-west of the festival. There is also a possibility of buying certain rare buildings from the Cherry Blossom Shop, located north of the festival.

To end the festival, the player will need to go out from it's location. The player will then spawn in front of their house at 21:00.

Tree Planting Festival

Takes place on Spring 21.

The tree planting is completed in 3 stages

Stage A: Clear the debris in this area to move on to the next stage. (0/122)

Stage B: Till a 2x2 spot on all of the marked ground you come across to move onto the next stage. (0/44)

Stage C: Find the tilled areas in the stage and plant you allotted sapling to finish the tree planting festival! (0/10)

Summer Festivals & Events

Animal Festival

Day 12. Must be started between 09:00 - 14:00.

Pet Race

When pets are implemented as a feature, there will be a Pet Race that the player can participate in. (For now there is a stand marking where the race will be.)

There is a Cow Competition in front of the Community Center that involves racing different Townee's cows against each other. They will be distracted by food on the ground, and the player calls them back to task by pressing a set of keys.

There is a Chicken Competition south of this where the player's chicken has staring contests with other chickens. Winning a staring contest is one of the requirements for a chicken to be able to lay golden eggs.

The Rodeo is south of the Chicken Competition, and the challenge is to see how long the player can stay mounted on the mechanical bull. If they miss entering the right keys three times, they're thrown off.

The Rodeo

The Rodeo features a leaderboard with three Townies leading the ranking. Chaem holds first place with a record of 75.00s, Noah holds second place with 50.00s and Mark is in last place at 25.00s. If the player beats one of these times, the leaderboard order changes. The reward for taking first place is a Corn on the Cob.
