Spawns and locations
Like insects, some critters spawn during specific seasons or only during daytime (before 18:00) or nighttime (after 18:00). Unlike with insects, the weather does not affect the critter spawns.
Critters only spawn on the ocean floor in specific areas. Additionally, some critters are rarer than others, with rare critters appearing less frequently than more common ones. For most spawn locations, the rarity distribution is as follows (not all rarities are currently implemented):
- 50% for a common critter
- 20% for an uncommon
- 15% for a rare
- 10% for a super rare
- 5% for a legendary
