Tourists are visitors who come to enjoy the island's beauty and attractions. At the beginning of the game, players learn that an oil spill has significantly reduced the number of tourists in Starlet Town, resulting in a poor Town Rank score. One of the player's missions is to restore the Town Rank, and as they progress, more tourists will start visiting the town.

Tourists arrive on the 1st and 15th of each season and stay in town for the next two weeks. You can see them arriving from the beach dock and heading straight to the inn at 7 A.M.
They depart from the town at 5 P.M.

Tourists' Box

Occasionally, tourists visiting Starlet Town bring or leave items in a special box located on the dock. Players can check this Tourist Box to retrieve anything the tourists have donated. As the Town Rank improves and more tourists visit the town, the items left in the box become more valuable and frequent. This makes the Tourist Box a rewarding spot for players to find useful and interesting items throughout their journey.

Tourists' Locations

Jasmin during Animal Festival

Tourists explore various parts of the island, but they primarily visit the following sites:

  • Town Attraction
  • Temple Lake
  • Beach
  • Museum


Their schedule adjusts according to the weather. You won't find tourists at the beach during rainy weather, while the museum becomes more crowded during such conditions. During festivals, you'll also see backer tourists visiting Starlet town!

Tourist Types

While walking around, tourists can be seen wearing different clothes based on the locations they visit. Additionally, there are special tourists known as Kickstarter Backer Tourists. These unique visitors appear occasionally during festivals and can be interacted with.
