Wataru is non-dateable npc. He doesnt go out much from his residence, the lighthouse. He usually goes out only to take care of his garden and visits the beach shack. He is an old friend of Suki/Alice’s dad. He is a retired boat captain. He doesnt have the best relationship with his son, Wakuu. Now living alone, Wakuu always makes sure to visit Wataru on the weekends. Wakuu lives in Hillside, in the astronomy building. Wataru is a strict parent and not very good at communication. He has set his ways and is very hard to convince otherwise. This applies to everything in his life. Hardheaded, stern personality. He likes his space and has the tendency to be a hermit.
Wataru is reserved and willful. He doesn't talk about his feelings because he doesn't think it does anything. He is focused when it comes to a goal, takes pride in what he does. He often can be stubborn, judgemental, and blame himself for things when they go wrong. Wakuu's mom isn’t in his life, he was a one night stand baby and was raised by Wataru mainly.
Gifts
Giving gifts to Wataru will raise the friendship level, and you can do it twice a week. Wataru will give special dialogues if you give gifts on his birthdays:
