Joko is a local carpenter who lives with his wife, Dinda and son, Archie in Hillside. There is a small herb garden that Dinda tends just right by the kitchen window. Joko and Dinda moved to Coral Island 10 years ago from Indonesia. Joko has a family in a neighboring island and visits them every here and there. A day prior to his travel to visit his family, he will mail you the full information about how long he will be gone and if Dinda and Archie are coming. The travel is usually 1-2 days long. So prepare ahead! He would be willing to take orders prior of his travel date and will start the project as soon as he is back in town (6am of his arrival date). When you give them a project, it will take Joko and Dinda 2-3days to complete. Note that the carpenter shop is closed (whether or not Dinda comes with Joko) and will not receive any project during Joko’s departure. In his free time, he enjoys yoga, watching tv, going around the island enjoying nature, playing pool and catching up with his good friend, Rafael. He reads by the fireplace on rainy days.

One of his brothers, living in another island is Kin (Surya's dad)

Gifts

Giving gifts to Joko will raise the friendship level, and you can do it twice a week. Joko will give special dialogues if you give gifts on his birthdays:

Dialogues

First meeting
Introduction My day is going great, thank you for asking, Player. How are you today? Have you checked out my furniture store?
Generic
Monday, Heart 0-10 I’m not one for gardening, but it would be nice to rely less on Sam for fresh fruit.
Monday, Heart 0-10 We plant a few vegetables and herbs, but our garden isn’t big enough to grow fruit.
Monday, Heart 0-10 It would be nice to have a big farm like yours. But then, taking care of it must be a big job.
Tuesday, Heart 0-10 Now that I think about it, I doubt I’d have the time for it.
Wednesday, Heart 0-10 I like to stretch my legs after work, and I usually end up at Fishensips.
Wednesday, Heart 0-10 Fun finds a way, huh?
Spring
Date 1-10 The thing with Archie is that if one of his friends is sick, the whole class will probably be sick. Then do you know who gets sick after that?
Date 4-9 The parents, which includes me.
Date 4-9 There’s so much we can pass on to our children. The little things we, the parents, do can become their habits.
Summer
Date 1-9 The water is warm this time of year.
Date 7 It’s Sam’s birthday tomorrow. I think I’ll stop by in the morning to give him some of his favorite blueberry tarts.
Date 7-17 Have you caught much salmon lately?
Date 7-17 I still fish here and there, you know, especially now that it’s salmon season.
Date 25-28 It’ll be another year before we can enjoy the Summer breeze. The Fall breeze isn’t the same.
Fall
Date 3-13 I should collect more wood for smoking fish.
Date 3-13 Yes, you do need wood to smoke fish.
Date 20-28 At this time of year, we start keeping the heater on at night.
Heart 10 I know my son is having a hard time letting his mother go, even after all these years. It makes me sad to see him hurting, but…
Heart 10 I also know with Theo, you can’t force him. He’d just shut his door tighter. Being patient is the best thing I can do for him. And it’s so hard.
Winter
Date 6-14, 20-27 I don’t know how you do it, walking around in the snow and the cold.
Date 20-27 You’ll eventually find out who everyone really is if you give it some time. Some you’ll get along with, and some you won’t, and that’s okay.
Date 20-27 Because we’re different, Player.
Heart 6-10 What do you do now? Surely you can’t farm in Winter?
