Fruit tree

Fruit trees will grow over the course of 28 days and yield 3 fruit of their respective type when harvested by the Player. These trees take 4 days to regrow and will continue to bear fruit while in-season. These trees will not wither while out-of-season, do not need to be watered, and grow on a 1x1 tile.

Mechanics

Obtaining saplings

A variety of saplings can be purchased at Sam's General Store once the player has reached Town Rank C. Fruit tree saplings are available for sale all year.

Basics

Fruit trees do not have to be watered every day, as they will grow like Oak and Pine trees. Once mature, fruit trees will not wither and will instead remain year-long. but will only bear fruits on their respective seasons. When a fruit trees is ready to harvest, the player can shake the tree by interacting with it.

Any fruit tree can be removed from its tile during any growth stage by hitting it with an axe.

Growth and regrowth times

All fruit trees take 28 days to grow to maturity regardless of season or day on which they are planted. Once a fruit tree is in-season, it will bear fruit every 4 days.

Quality

Player can increase Fruit Trees quality by upgrading their seed in Ling's Lab.

This will require player to bring some item and money to Ling. In a few days, the seeds will automatically be upgraded. Increasing seed quality means better harvest quality, and higher sell price. Here's how seed quality affect the Fruit Trees sell price.
